A couple of hours spent walking on the mudflats of Lindisfarne north of the island in search of waders produced some interesting images.
Newbiggin-by-the-Sea has an interesting horse culture. Many horses (20-30) that you might associate with travellers are tethered around Newbiggin Moor and other locations around the town. Often these locations may well be a roundabout or a small patch of waste ground. They add a feel to Newbiggin unmatched in the larger more 'sophisticated' urban environments of South East Northumberland.
