12-12-12 - Newbiggin Church Pt-Beacon Pt Grey Plover 3, Bar-tailed Godwit 3, Dunlin 19, Rock Pipit 2, Purple Sandpiper 1, Red-throated Diver 1, Goldeneye 1 flew north. Ellington Lane Buzzard 1.
11-12-12 - Newburn, incoming tide, fewer gulls, 2-3 1st-winter Viking Gull-types photographed; 2 Bullfinches (male/female) in birches; several Teal, 2-3 adult Black-headed Gulls with summer hoods.
East Chevington - 27 Goldeneyes on north pool, 2-3 Little Grebes. Woodcock flushed from beside path at south end of south pool, 2 Wrens through reedbed and at least 1 Water Rail heard calling south of sluice. Morpeth A1 Buzzard west of Morpeth, north of Clifton.

04-12-12 - Warkworth Gut 150 Teal north of footbridge, 2 Stonechats and 2 Snow Buntings on beach at south end. Newbiggin Little Owl.
