Hi Alan,

I totally agree with you on this one though i couldnt help noticing that the RSPB's argument that it brings economic and tourist benifits would apply much more so to shooting in scotland (grouse shooting in particular) but dont remember going out of their way to emphasise that to often.

The idea that the transmitters are warding off the eagles seems a bit far fetched. It is, however, an undeniable fact that some WTSE do prey on live lambs. Openness and honesty on both both sides of the raptor debate is going to be required if the issue is ever going to move forward sensibly.
