Before Breakfast.....

Under the cover of darkness I slipped away to make the most of wife's late start. A one and a half hour window of opportunity to catch up with some more of the superb seabird bonanza that the tail end of this high pressure has shoved down into the north sea.
A chilly blustery grey sea and no other birders as the light slowly improved to allow more than the just out of reach Herring Gull to start coming into view.
By eight when I left there were four other birders including Tim Cleeves and Alan Giloney left on Church Point, the sea was calmer and the sky brighter but passage was still steady.
