Trapped as one of my dynamic duo has gone down with Chicken Pox. A little time then to try and catch up with some plant ID's that I have neglected over the last couple of weeks. The first a single plant tucked away in at the side of the small lake in Wansbeck Business Park and not one I've personally come across before although it's apparently quite common. It took me a little while to ID it at first I thought it was an Orpine but the leaf shape was all wrong, eventually I pegged it down to Hemp Agrimony.
The second one was again all on its lonesome this time in a corner of the rough meadow at Summerhouse Lane. I am pretty sure this one is Sainfoin, a native of downland apparently now grown as a forage crop.
Oh and I've had a butterfly garden tick today but the pics arent downloaded yet so it'll have to wait till later.
