Four. The Future?

Our first ever breeding House Sparrows in twelve years have produced four young. They appeared during the rain earlier today bathing in 2mm of water in a hollow in the Yorkstone and sipping water from the down pipe on the conservatory. Interesting to note one feeding on grass seed, they must switch to seed almost immediately they fledge or younger?
I'm planning a suite of rooms on the side of the house to try and encourage a few more pairs next year.

Good luck with the house`s extension, Alan.
The fledglings/youngsters in my garden are feeding on Wheat.
