Little Egret

A fleeting glimpse on the Coquet Estuary this morning from a van almost as white as the bird. Out of touch with news I recall that there was one at Hauxley some time ago, perhaps the same individual?

Red Kite

Saturday, dawdling along in the car about 1m east of Hebron and from behind a shelter belt suddenly up pops a Red Kite. Fantastic, although the wife didnt think much of me driving round the bend looking over my shoulder.
